Capcom’s Darkwing Duck on the NES

Capcom released Darkwing Duck for the NES in 1992 and the Gameboy in 1993. The game uses the same engine as Capcom’s Megaman series, and is often cited as one of the better NES titles, alongside DuckTales.

The Fearsome Four (sans Negaduck) have teamed up with F.O.W.L and it’s up to our 8-bit hero to stop them! This game also includes an original character known as “Wolfduck”, who never existed in the cartoon series. He is a final boss in one of the city levels where he will transform into a larger, stronger wereduck when the full moon appears.

Like most NES titles, Darkwing Duck is a game that requires both skill and precision along with a large dose of patience.
