Biography

Neptunia was once a normal little fishy, “fresh out of school” when a bunch of jerks dumped barrels of toxic waste in the water that knocked her out cold. She awoke to find she had mutated into a fish-like being with the ability to communicate with all sea creatures.

When Neptunia first hit St.Canard it was with a wave. The enraged environmentalist was sick of all the garbage St. Canard was dropping into the ocean, destroying her home. As punishment, she decided to flood the city, putting an end to litter. She uses a shell as a horn to command the creatures of the ocean to do her bidding. Eventually, she and Darkwing are able to come to terms with each other, and Neptunia promises to leave St. Canard alone, so long as they keep the ocean clean.

Later, she is inducted into the Justice Ducks, and assists with stopping the Fearsome Five from their hostile takeover of St. Canard.

Neptunia isn’t quite a ‘hero’ nor is she a villain. She prefers to keep out of the business of land-dwellers unless it’s affecting her ocean. She has an Octopus friend by the name of “Hal” who is often seen at her side.
