Personality

The demonlings have a vast range of personalities. For the most part, they are quite vicious and enjoy causing mischief wherever they go. Each clutch usually has an “alpha” who is the most aggressive and becomes the defacto leader of their siblings. More rarely, a few of the demonlings are nicer, and may even have a sweet-natured temperament.

Biography

The Demonlings are a series of offspring, mostly from Malicia Macawber and Negaduck. Unlike Mal’s more “Normal” children, the demonlings arrive in clutches of 6-13 eggs and are extremely precocial when they hatch. They are able to fly, eat, and cause mass destruction as soon as they break free from their eggs. They stay close to the nest for the first month of their life and function as a hive-mind to terrorize St. Canard. They are commonly found gnawing on buildings, stealing designer-sized dogs, and are particularly drawn to shiny objects (watches, gems, Christmas ornaments, etc).

After a few months of chaos-making, they will leave the nest and venture across the world to carve out their own separate territories. Before then, the citizens of St. Canard batten down the hatches and wait for the baby-pocalypse to pass.

Mal is able to have a single litter that contains offspring from multiple fathers (much like a cat). Demonlings can smell the difference between half-siblings, and will attempt to push the eggs from the nest or eat them.
