(Nega) Gosalyn Waddlemeyer

"What? B-but I didn't say that! I don't understand... why would you write something cruel like that?" Gosalyn looks on the verge of tears.

About

Negaduck's ward and raised in a harsh background, yet she stands as the brightest light in the Negaverse, Gosalyn is a beautiful child inside and out. She's sweet and eager to please, able to easily make anyone feel loved and welcomed around her.

She wishes to be just like her four guardians (and a certain mysterious caped crusader) when she grows up, able to help and protect people from danger. But for now, she's content with school, knitting, ballet, playing house, and acting as support for and enjoying time with her family.

Currently, she is adopted by Quiverwing Duck and has made a lot of friends in Darkwing's world, where she is happy. She still visits her family back in the Negaverse on occasion.

((OOC: I will follow any headcanon about her relationship with Negaduck so not to worry! Have fun!))

Clever child. Good thing he didn't see the slip of paper as he stomped them both out and down the street, light fittings trembling in his Nega wake. He would've likely taken 'reasonable' as a challenge.

"You aren't living with squat, brat." Squatting a more apt description for any of his supposed living quarters. "The Muddlefoots are waiting on the other side to take you straight to The Tower."

Who knew where Launchpad had gotten to. Nevermind, he'd inevitably show up later with his head stuck in a cereal box or something.

"You're so grounded you'll be lucky not to wind up as paste!"

No lame docking pocket money type punishments in the Negaverse.

"Wait, you're taking me back home? To live with you?" Gosalyn exclaimed, beaming all over her face. She had no idea how much he missed her. She'd missed him a lot too but she never thought her former guardian would feel the same way!

"Yay!" she bounced towards him for a hug, misreading the sarcastic gesture, and Negaduck was just inches away from being glomped when he started pulling her away effortlessly just in time. Wow, that was some really good rest he'd been getting. She always knew if Negaduck got enough sleep, he'd be stronger!

But he was being silly, it was endearing. It was so touching that he was so protective of her that he wanted her to come back with him, but she was happy here!

Still, he was in a really good mood, and she didn't want to upset him. So she let him drag her off willingly.

What he wouldn't see was the goodbye note she wrote on a pink post-it note and leaving it just by the door as he walked out, with promises to try and come back when Negaduck was in a more reasonable mood.

        Hah. Reasonable. What a joke.

Urgh. He should have expected as much. After years of exposure, however, his tolerance threshold for her saccharine nonsense was strong.

The high that came with single handedly beating up the city also helped.

"Sure, sweetness, you can call me whatever you like."

Figure of speech kid, don't push it.

"After you've said goodbye to this dump."

The hand resting on her shoulder sarcastically - could hands even rest sarcastically - soon changed its grip to seize the back of her collar and, in case she hadn't picked up on his meaning, began dragging her away.

          Back to the portal.

Well, that should be enough to get the little child to run.

            "Y-you mean it?"

Ha, look at those tears of- no, no! No happy tears!! What is wrong with you?

"I can call you dad?" she asked in a soft whisper, smiling in happiness and hope, her hands clasped together. She positively radiated... well, positivity.

It appears someone hasn't seen the videos that blew up on the internet yet.

A shadow fell over the oh so sickeningly sweet little sprite.

              "Daddy's home."

What was disturbing about that, aside from the usage of daddy, was that the freshly revived Negaduck didn't seem quite right.

              Even for Negaduck.

Oddly enough, the story seemed very similar. Aside from several grammatical mistakes and inappropiate swearing by the author, the ending was just the same.  "Wait, what happened to the kids in your world?" Dewey asked nervously.  "You...

Dewey enthusiastically looked for a book to read too but Huey and Louie were far from interested. Louie wanted to explore more of the offices and labs, and Huey wanted to play in the pool. But they seemed unwilling to leave out of sight of their...

"You could be," Gosalyn told her fairy godmother seriously, ignoring the fact that, since she was already a fairy godmother, she couldn't be a princess. There was no such rule in her book! Briar would be a lovely princess fairy godmother! "You're so...

Route nodded. "Yes. Come this way, please."  He showed Scrooge and the boys some of the offices the agents worked in, as well as his own. He had... very interesting taste, having his furniture a horrible clash of bright colours with stuffed...

The boys could not believe it.  "Is this a trick...?" Louie asked warily. Uncle Donald had pulled that trick a few times before, pretending to be nice to them only to give them a severe punishment when they started to feel...

Route sighed in relief. "Okay, don't worry. Agent Randal, would you mind taking her to the infirmary?"  The boys were all hiding behind Uncle Scrooge nervously once more.  "We're really sorry..."  Why weren't any of the grown-ups...

"Your name is Briar? That is so pretty!" Gosalyn beamed happily, then looked embarrassed when she was curious about her nicknames. "I'd like to call you Rose, because of your lovely pink beak, or Sparkles. I know, it sounds silly..."  She...
