Untitled for now until a name comes to me

Panchito had flown to Duckburg with his beloved adopted daughter Feliciana to visit his best friend and Godfather of his child- Donald Duck and his family for the weekend. Unfortunately his husband José could not come along as he was busy with his job being a flight attendant and wouldn't be back until Tuesday.

-

Rather than taking a plane like normal people, Panchito took his enchanted serape to fly himself and his daughter all the way there...Which was tons more fun than any airplane-- not to mention faster and better smelling too.

-

Landing successfully in the front yard, the small blue jay eagerly started knocking on the door multiple times as the rooster rolled up his serape.

-

"I hope they aren't off on an adventure." He hummed thoughtfully. "Perhaps I should have called first after all?"

It was Duckworth the ghost butler who answered the door first, but just as he had been about to ask a question, Della spotted Panchito while she was surfing down the stairway rail and ran up to the doorway. "Oh wow! Panchito, is that you? Ha! Surprised Donald could stay in touch with his friends that long!"

Duckworth just gave a sigh and left. Della paused for a moment, then rubbed the back of her neck. "Oh, uh, by the way - I'm NOT dead, and I just got back from the moon! So, how have you been?" She looked down at the small blue jay kid. "Ooooh! Who's this?!"

The rooster smiled to the ghost, in his letter exchanges with Donald, he had mentioned that McDuck's butler was brought back as a ghost. It was kinda cool to see a ghost in person!

        -

Smiling, he was about to greet the ghost when his jaw dropped upon seeing a familiar face that he believed he would never see again-- even as a ghost! "D-D-D--" He stuttered in shock before soon enough his usual over-enthusiastic nature showed by pulling her in for a hug. "¡No puedo creer esto!" He pulled away, wiping a tear from his eye. "When did you get back?!"

        -

When the duck addressed his daughter, he looked down to the small blue jay back to his best friend's sister with a smile. "Surely you didn't think you'd be the only one of us with kids after ten years, did you?" He chuckled, ruffling her hair. "This is Feliciana, long story short, José and I are her parents now."

        -

The blue jay named Feliciana looked about the same age and height as the triplets and Webby, looked up at the duck with wide, curious eyes. "If you just got back from the moon, does that mean you're the mother of Huey, Dewey, and Louie?"

"Whoa! Hey there!" She let herself be swept up by Panchito for a moment, patting him in an awkward manner on the back. She had no idea what he was saying because she couldn't speak a word of Spanish, but she imagined it was probably something nice.

"Not too long ago! It hasn't even been a month yet! Wow. Look at you." It seemed Panchito hadn't changed much at all! He looked a bit older, sure, but other than that, not a bit!

She swatted his hand away in a playful manner. "Cut that out, Panchito! You and Jose, huh? Ha! I knew it! Donald owes me a twenty." She put her hands on her hips, looking smug.

Then, she looked down at the small blue jay and smiled. "Hey there, Feliciana. I'm an old friend of your dad's! Or well, actually, he's more of my brother's friend, but you know, I won't tell my brother if you won't." She gave the young girl a conspiratorial wink.

Then, she gave an enthusiastic nod of her head. "That's right! I'm Della Duck, mother of Huey, Dewey, and Louie! I mean, those weren't supposed to be their actual names, but they're kind of stuck with them now."

"Me? Look at--" His chipper demeanor was quick to change into that of a shocked and worried one due to just noticing the metal leg. "¡Dios mío!" He exclaimed in his native language, doing a double-take to make sure he wasn't just seeing things. "Looks like you've changed the most out of anyone these past years! How did that happen?"

            -

Feliciana's attention went to Della's prosthetic, her eyes glistened in amazement. "Fredda!" She exclaimed in her native language- Italian. "What I mean to say is- that is cool to have a robot leg! Does it hurt to have it on? Do you shower with it on or do you take it off? Oh, do you sleep with it on too? Have you ever used it as a weapon? Did a Moon Monster bite off your real leg?!"

            -

Full of questions and excitement, the small blue jay started to bounce up and down, anxiously awaiting answers.

            (Translations- "My god!"

            "Cool!")

Della was surprised by the sudden change in demeanor that came over Panchito, then she noticed where he was looking. Oh, right. Her leg. She supposed that was something she was going to have to get used to now. She smiled reassuringly at him. "Hey, I haven't changed THAT much. I'm STILL cooler than you, Jose, or Donald will ever be." She crossed her arms, looking smug.

She glanced at Feliciana and whispered (in plain ear shot while looking pointedly at Panchito). "Your dads and my brother are all complete dorks. I could tell you some stories."

She was suddenly bombarded with questions by the little girl, and it was difficult to keep up, but Della tried to be patient, tried to keep track of the questions, and thought about her answers.

"Yes, it is very cool," Della said, beaming. "And naaaaaaaaaah-" Sometimes, she'd get sore, though. "They don't have showers on the moon!" She was glad she could actually shower now. "Oh, totally." She had to take whatever advantage she could against moon monsters.

She winced briefly when Feliciana asked if a moon monster bit off her real leg as she thought about what actually happened to her real leg, but she forced a big smile and laughed. "It sure did! But don't worry! You should've seen what happened to the Moon Monster!"

"You're only cooler than us now that you have a metal leg, otherwise we have always been cooler than you." The rooster proclaimed with a confident smirk, puffing out his chest proudly-- which soon deflated upon hearing what Della had told his child. "I could hear you, you know!"

                -

The small blue jay blinked, confused. Her dads and Godfather were complete dorks? She couldn't see how, but hearing of their past interested her. Her eyes went wide as dinner plates upon hearing of a moon monster, covering her beak as she gasped. "Whoa! You fought a monster on the moon?! Is that any different than the kind of monsters you encountered in your adventures with Signore McDuck and Zio Donald?!"

                -

"Seems she likes you already." Panchito smiled, ruffling his daughter's hair feathers. "How about we all go inside and play catch-up?"
