Personality: Mean, bossy, moody, self-involved, hypocritical, and generally an all-around vain individual; but the most popular term for Malicia is "Bona fide Be-yatch". She often appears poised and calm with an underlying layer of venom; an outer shell of beauty that will lash out like an untamed beast when she so chooses.

One of the biggest mistakes that others make about Malicia is assuming she's a complete and utter floozy due to her overall 'seductress' appearance and flirtatious personality. This is not the case however. Although she enjoys flaunting herself, Mal is surprisingly picky about her mates and very few males have been intimately involved with her.

On occasion, she shows her more playful, comical side. She can be friendly toward others if she thinks it will benefit her in some way.

"Doesn't play well with others" is the best way to describe this fiery-tempered felon. Malicia has an issue with authority because she spent her childhood under her strict father's thumb. As a result, she values her freedom and hates taking orders from anyone. This makes it near impossible for her to 'team up' with other villains because she won't listen unless SHE'S the one tossing the orders around. Most of her criminal career is spent solo but she is not necessarily on bad terms with other villains -- she will make occasional short-term alliances when necessary but they often fall apart at the seams when things aren't working in her favor.

Malicia doesn't care for money. She believes that if there's something she desires, she can simply take it. No need to waste time paying for it. She will proudly admit she doesn't rob banks for the money but for the sheer thrill of it. She does however, enjoy expensive jewelry... like a magpie, she loves shiny things.

Although she will often appear calm and collected, her fiery temper will ignite when she has met an obstacle or short-coming. She is extremely cocky and egotistical, especially toward Protagonists, believing herself to be far more powerful and beautiful than most people. This often leads to her downfall because she will underestimate her enemies.

Biography:  Malicia is the younger cousin of Morgana MaCawber. Like the rest of the MaCawber bloodline, Malicia was raised in an exclusive magical community where "Normals" (non-magical beings) were looked down upon with disgust. Unfortunately for Malicia, she was also treated as an outcast due to the fact her father, Malik, had started a family feud between himself and his younger brother Moloculo (Morgana's father). Malik was originally the heir to the MaCawber family name and was expected to inherit MaCawber Castle, but was skipped over because of his involvement with dark magic and a rumor that he had made a magical contract with Beelzebub. Malicia, unexpectedly born a demon, was considered a "curse" upon the MaCawber family name and a danger to the community because she was a demon not bound to a master. Furthermore her mother --the local Healer and an extremely valuable member of the community-- sacrificed her own life so that her daughter could live freely. Malicia was scapegoated as being responsible for her death, thus further distancing her from monster society.

The only person to ever befriend and care for the demon was her cousin Morgana. As children they were very close and attended the Eldritch Academy of Enchantment together as best friends. Their friendship came to a halt in their later years when Morgana found out that Malicia had been regularly visiting The Library of Forbidden Spells (*organ music*) and, fearing for Malicia's safety, reported her to the Dean. Malicia was expelled from the academy and accused Morgana of being a jealous back-stabbing traitor. It had never been Morgana's intention for her cousin to be expelled and pleaded her case to the school, but she was ignored.

A few months after her explusion, Malicia showed up at the Academy in a strange daze and began attacking the students and faculty. She was eventually apprehended and put on trial by The Elders where she was unanimously voted 'Guilty' for murder, treachery, and being a menace to society.

Malicia was then exiled from Transylvania and officially disowned by the MaCawber clan. She pleaded innocence, claiming it was 'out of her control' and turned to Morgana for solace, but Morgana assumed that Malicia had acted out of revenge for her expulsion and ignored her. This left Mal devastated and she became even more spiteful toward her cousin and family for refusing to trust her. She vowed someday she would have her revenge and left the country where she would wander on her own in exile for a decade, engaging in various criminal activities and odd relationships.

Through a series of events she finally ended up in St. Canard. Now a fully-fledged criminal she had heard about Morgana's involvement with Darkwing Duck and came seeking her out in order to 'punish' her. Malicia now permanently resides in St. Canard where she commits numerous crimes and does whatever she can to make Morgana's life a living hell. She is essentially Morgana's arch-nemesis.

She has also begun a small business as a weapons supplier for villains, and works out of her criminal hideout in the shady warehouse district of St. Canard located near the Audubon harbor (which ironically, is not very far from Darkwing Tower). If you're looking for a new Death Ray for that latest world domination plot, or need a large vat of deadly acid to dangle your captured heroes over on short notice, Mal's your lady.
